Rina Sinaia
Sinaia, Romania
The choice: calm over spectacle. Warm corridors and quiet wayfinding that turn a night’s stay into actual rest.
Quality. Speed. Cost. You can't have all three. We design hospitality that performs by choosing what matters.
In every project, three promises compete: high quality, fast delivery, low cost. Expecting all three at once is how budgets slip and openings go wrong. Since 2013 we've told every client the same thing: choose two, and defend the choice.
Tap the third one. Something has to give.
Quality + Speed
The investment is honest and the date is real. We protect craft and momentum, and engineer the budget so it serves both, with no false promises along the way.
Proof, not portfolio
We never show a space without the decision that made it possible. Sixteen of more than 500 completed projects, the ones our clients’ guests ask about most: hotels, restaurants, wellness and retail, from the Carpathians to the Indian Ocean.

Sinaia, Romania
The choice: calm over spectacle. Warm corridors and quiet wayfinding that turn a night’s stay into actual rest.

Bucharest, Romania
The choice: character over corporate. Europe’s first Chili’s: the brand’s heat, held by a calm semi-industrial shell built for volume.

Zanzibar, Tanzania
The choice: place over polish. Barefoot luxury on Michamvi beach: local craft, ocean light, and nothing standing between the two.

Bucharest, Romania
The choice: patience over shortcuts. A heritage villa taken apart and re-made: seventeen rooms of Art Deco, brass and velvet.

Bucharest, Romania
The choice: appetite over formality. A trattoria that leads with warmth: greenery, neon, and tables that invite a second hour.

Poiana Brașov, Romania
The choice: warmth over trophy luxury. Walnut, leather and mountain light for a champion’s hotel in Poiana Brașov.

Bucharest, Romania
The choice: one bold note over ten safe ones. Interwar Bucharest: Art Deco and French fashion, worn lightly, six floors up.

Bucovina, Romania
The choice: roots over trends. A Bucovina deli where tradition is the display: timber, daylight, honest produce up front.

Bucharest, Romania
The choice: the view runs the room. Thirty-six floors up, everything defers to the skyline, and the skyline pays it back.

Bucharest, Romania
The choice: a stratified journey over uniform luxury. Orient below, Paris above: one hotel, two worlds, no noise.

Romania
The choice: presence over restraint. Marble, brass and deep blue: a hotel dining room that dresses for dinner.

Bucharest, Romania
The choice: continuity over reinvention. Discrete moves (rhythm, mirrors, light) that changed how the room reads.

Romania
The choice: calm over clinical. A clinic that borrows from hospitality: soft arches, warm white, light that lowers the pulse.

Bucharest, Romania
The choice: energy with order. Bowling, bar and pizza in one warm room that never tips into noise.

Romania
The choice: silence as material. Stone, water, warm light, and nothing that doesn’t earn its place.

Bucovina, Romania
The choice: the village over the resort. Bucovina proportions, pavilion calm: architecture that belongs to its hill.

since 2013
Not everything fits in a rail. Sixty more from the public archive, each linked to its full story. The rest live in a decade of drawings, sites and openings.
We live in a time that confuses possibility with value. Never have there been more options, and our industry answers abundance with more abundance. Almost no one asks what deserves to remain.
We don't lack creativity. We lack criteria. The future belongs to those who choose better, not those who can do more.
Design begins when you have the courage to drop ten good ideas to make room for the one that matters.
What stays takes its meaning from what was cut. A place is defined by what you decide not to put in it.
Remarkable places are the result of the best decisions, not the most. That is the discipline of choice.
You can't have it all. You must choose.
A space doesn't die from what it lacks. It dies from excess.
Every choice is paid for somewhere else.
What we optimize for
Hospitality spaces are businesses before they are pictures. Every project is tuned on three axes that decide whether it performs: on opening night, and in year five.

We design on the skin, not the screen: light, material, rhythm, the way a room holds a guest. Atmosphere is engineered. It's what people come back for.

Trends expire; criteria don't. We choose materials and gestures that still perform when the next five fashions have come and gone, so the space holds its value.

Flows, seats, staff steps, energy, maintenance. We design the operation as carefully as the image, so the room works as hard as the people running it.
Every project starts with one question: if you can't have everything, what do you choose?
Then one team carries the answer from vision to grand opening, so nothing essential is lost between hands.
The business, the guest, the operation, before any drawing.
One idea strong enough to refuse the others.
Interior and architecture: two scales, one practice.
Chosen once, sourced right, on budget.
On site until the vision opens its doors.

The studio
Picktwo is a spatial design studio specialized in HoReCa, founded in Bucharest in 2013. We work as one integrated team (strategy, design, procurement, site), so a vision becomes a finished place without losing its essence on the way.
Architecture and interior are two scales of the same practice. Hotels, restaurants, cafés and spas are where we apply it: across Romania for over a decade, and now for hospitality clients internationally.
Tell us about the hotel, the restaurant, the place you want people to remember. We'll help you choose what matters, and cut what doesn't.
